Welcome to the website of Highroad, the pipeband from the Allgäu. We are a modern pipeband as they're known from scotland - JUST COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. We're intentionally musically differnet from traditional pipebands - away from the mass instrument towards more individual. Our goal is to newly interpret and expand scottish/irish music with our own style and go musical ways "outside of the box" (in the context of a pipeband). To achieve this, Highroad combines the traditional scottish Pipes & Drums primarily with the ease and fun of irish folk music. Our gathering and impact ground is mainly bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and much further.
